The goal of the first few weeks of food choices is to remove preservatives from my diet and my fat cells.

The body uses fat to store extra protein, carbohydrates & chemicals. If the preservatives are not burned on the day they are consumed, the body might not eliminate them. If the body is not sure what the chemical is or is unable to dispose of the chemical, it will store the chemical in your fat cells until later.

I have not been on any medications, so the only chemicals I have in my fat are chemicals from my food and my environment.

I will keep my calorie count at a number suggested by NHS in their 800 diet. The low calorie count, 800 to 900 calories, is possible but may a bit monotonous for many people without a specific goal or without planning. The last time I accomplished 800 calories was for a 40 day detox.

This time, I’ve planned the detox to continue until I reach 18 percent bodyfat.

MONDAY DAY 1 Week 1 Food Choices.

My food choices for today included:

  • 2 cups oatmeal (cold without being heated)
  • 1 cup coffee
  • 1 jasmine tea
  • 4 eggs made into eggdrop soup
  • Miso soup packet
  • Jello cup

That’s it. If you have a craving for some food (sugar or carbs) talk with your health coach. My current diet is not a volume diet so the amount of food I’m eating will not fill you up.

The feeling from today is absence of hunger. No feeling of fullness and no cravings.

The goal for this preservative detox is to strengthen my muscles & ligaments, reduce body fat and give my body what it needs to transform.
